Orthopaedics
Orthopaedic screening and surgery led by Dr. Gábor Kiss, a member of the Hungarian Small Animal Orthopaedic Association (MKOE).
Limping and changes in movement
Musculoskeletal problems often start with small signs: your pet jumps less, gets up with more difficulty, or spares one leg after a few steps. These signs are worth an examination, because early detection also widens the treatment options.
The examination begins by watching the gait and by palpation; an accurate diagnosis usually also requires an X-ray.
Orthopaedic surgery
Patellar luxation and cruciate ligament rupture (TPLO) — in both small and large dogs.
Surgical treatment of Hansen type I and II disc herniation.
Surgical stabilisation of fractures.
Treatment of injuries and lesions.
